I am very happy to accept embassy referrals (Libya and Syria excepted) and have done so for many years but long experience has taught me that the patient must physically hand me the letter of guarantee (LoG) at the beginning of the appointment or that it was emailed and received by my secretary (s.harvey@rbht.nhs.uk) three hours before the appointment otherwise the family will be charged. Electronic payments or cheques are both gratefully received.
